The support fee is not the whole bill and usually not even half of it. Next to it sit state fees and the cost of documents: certificates, apostilles, sworn translation, medical certificates, insurance. The calculator adds all three parts together so the total does not come as a surprise.
What is not included. This covers the application itself, not the cost of moving. Flights, shipping, a rental deposit and rent, furniture, schooling, a car and living costs for the first months are all separate and outside our control. We only count what belongs to the permit.
Two rules behind it. State fees are named with their form code, a link to the official source and the date we checked them. Where no official figure is published, we do not invent one and do not copy it from third-party sites: we say plainly that you should check the amount on the form when you file.

How our fee is paid
In three payments tied to the stage of the case, not to the calendar. The first comes after the first consultation, once the plan is agreed.
This covers the application, not the move: flights, housing and shipping are not here. It is not a quote and not a calculation for your case, it is the honest shape of the bill. State fees are exact and sourced to the order, third-party costs are given as ranges because they depend on the country, the document and your age.
The work permit fee is not payable by nationals of Ibero-American countries, the Philippines, Andorra and Equatorial Guinea, by Sephardim, by children and grandchildren of Spaniards by origin, and by foreigners born in Spain applying for initial self-employed work.
